As reported earlier, on June 1, the International Children Protection Day, "Rīgas satiksme" organised an event for children in tram depot No. 5. This year kids from Riga Jānis Rozentāls Secondary School of Arts and young talents from The Latvian Academy of Artistic Fantasy of Children and Youth participated in the event. As part of it, they went on a guided tour of Riga in the Retro tram and participated in the e ticket design contest. Their drawings were published on the website of "Rīgas satiksme", where every visitor could vote for the best one.

The tram drawn by Kristofers has won a convincing majority of 713 votes. A total of 2949 visitors of the "Rīgas satiksme" website participated in the opinion poll, which was held from June 2 till July 4.

The tradition of printing children’s drawings on the e ticket once a year was established by "Rīgas satiksme" back in 2010, when the drawing of a low-floor tram by Vineta Siliņa was recognised the best by visitors of the company’s website.
